Mentoring & Support (Youth Theatre Ireland)

As a mentor for Youth Theatre Ireland’s Drama Facilitation programmes, Catherine is passionate about nurturing the next generation of drama facilitators. She provides guidance and support to aspiring facilitators, sharing her knowledge and experience in areas like workshop design, facilitation techniques, and youth development. Catherine is committed to fostering a supportive learning environment where mentees can develop their skills, build confidence, and become effective and inspiring leaders in the field of youth theatre.

Project Design, Planning & Delivery

Catherine has a proven track record of designing, planning, and delivering successful arts projects in collaboration with numerous Government bodies, Local authorities, Educational, Arts and Cultural organisations. From initial concept development to final execution, she provides comprehensive project management, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest artistic standards. Catherine is experienced in working with diverse communities and creating projects that are engaging, impactful, and relevant to the local context.

Arts in Education & Professional Landscape

As a national trainer for Creative Clusters, working with the Department of Education and the ESCI network, Catherine has played a key role in fostering collaborative arts learning across schools nationwide. Her work with the Department of Education on initiatives such as TAP, BLAST, and I Am Creative has given her a deep understanding of arts education within primary and post-primary schools, including special schools. Her role as a Creative Associate with the Arts Council of Ireland also allows her to contribute to the wider professional arts landscape, further broadening her expertise across both the educational and arts sectors.

Funding & Grant Application Assistance

Catherine has extensive experience in securing funding for arts projects and offers assistance with grant applications. She helps clients develop compelling proposals, articulate a project’s vision and impact, and navigate the application process effectively. Catherine works with her clients to identify suitable funding opportunities and tailor each application to meet the specific requirements of the funder. Her goal is to empower people to secure the resources needed to bring their creative projects to life.
