Our Arts in Education work supports schools in using creative, drama-based methodologies to bring the curriculum to life and nurture the whole learner. Grounded in process drama and experiential pedagogy, our approach aligns with the key competencies, wellbeing goals, and cross-curricular priorities of Irish education.
By weaving creativity, collaboration, and reflection into everyday practice, we help teachers create classrooms where students are engaged, confident, and curious — where learning is both imaginative and meaningful. Through this partnership between arts and education, creativity becomes more than an outcome; it becomes a powerful way of teaching, learning, and connecting.
Workshops that Inspire Confidence, Creativity & Connection
Our drama-based workshops empower students across Primary and Post-Primary levels to develop the skills they need to thrive—both in school and in life. Rooted in process drama and experiential learning, each workshop is designed to spark creativity, build confidence, and support personal growth, while aligning with the curriculum and well-being goals of Irish schools.
From imaginative play and storytelling in primary classrooms to performance, critical thinking, and collaboration at post-primary level, our workshops offer students a dynamic space to express themselves, explore big ideas, and work together in meaningful ways.

Creative Youth Initiatives
Creative Youth is delivered through partnership between the Department of Education and Youth, the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth, the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science, and the Arts Council.
I work across a range of national Creative Youth initiatives as a trainer, tutor, facilitator, Creative Associate and theatre practitioner. I support teachers, artists and school communities to develop inclusive, meaningful and sustainable creative experiences for children and young people.
These initiatives offer schools different ways to engage with professional artists and creative practitioners. Depending on the programme, schools may access funded residencies, professional development, specialist facilitation or support in developing a whole-school approach to creativity.

Creative Clusters
Creative Clusters is an initiative of the Department of Education and Youth, led by and in partnership with Education Support Centres Ireland (ESCI), and part of Creative Youth 2023–2027, one of the five pillars of the Creative Ireland Programme. As a National Trainer and Facilitator, I support facilitators and school clusters in planning, implementing and sustaining high-quality collaborative creative practice.
Creative Schools
Creative Schools is an Arts Council–led initiative, in partnership with the Department of Education and Youth, that supports schools on a two-year journey to develop and implement their own Creative Schools Plan across any artform. As a Creative Associate, I work with the whole school community to guide creative planning, build capacity and broker partnerships with artists and cultural organisations.
TAP+ (Teacher–Artist Partnership+)
TAP+ is a Department of Education and Youth professional development programme that strengthens arts integration in schools through sustained teacher–artist partnership. As a TAP+ Tutor, I train teachers and artists to work collaboratively in creative partnership. I also work as a Theatre Practitioner, co-designing and delivering drama residencies with teachers that embed creative practice in the classroom and build pedagogical confidence.
BLAST (Bringing Live Arts to Students and Teachers)
BLAST is a Department of Education and Youth residency initiative that enables schools to work with professional artists and creative practitioners to enhance arts engagement. As a Theatre Practitioner/Artist, I design and deliver high-quality drama residencies that foster collaboration, creativity and meaningful arts experiences for students.
I Am Creative
I Am Creative is a Department of Education and Youth initiative developed for special educational settings, supporting collaborative creative practice through training and residency models. As a Theatre Practitioner/Artist, I contribute to this model by facilitating inclusive, process-led drama work that supports communication, confidence and creative expression.
