Transitions

“Transitions,” a dynamic drama programme, provides 6th class students with the skills and confidence they need to thrive in secondary school. Through engaging drama activities and cross-curricular links to Literacy, Drama, Art, and SPHE, students will:

• Develop a strong sense of self and build self-esteem.
• Enhance communication and collaboration skills.
• Explore their identity and develop empathy for others.
• Embrace the future with excitement and a sense of belonging.

This child-centred and child-led programme fosters creativity, inclusivity, and the belief that every child has a valuable story to tell, ensuring a positive and confident transition to secondary school.
