Theatre & Film

A Fusion of Storytelling

My creative practice is a dynamic blend of disciplines, rooted in our extensive experience in theatre and a keen interest in film. This unique combination allows me to explore storytelling across different mediums, from live stage productions to the screen. My work is unified by a passion for powerful narratives, a collaborative spirit, and a commitment to nurturing talent and sparking meaningful conversations.

Youth Theatre

My commitment to nurturing young talent is deeply rooted in my work with youth theatre. As the Founder and Artistic Director of Roscommon County Youth Theatre, I have dedicated myself to providing high-quality theatre training and performance opportunities for young people. I also serve as a mentor for Youth Theatre Ireland’s Drama Facilitation programme, supporting the development of the next generation of youth theatre leaders.

Theatre Directing

Directing is where I bring stories to life. My directing work encompasses a diverse range of styles and genres, from Shakespeare to contemporary drama. I focus on collaborative processes, working closely with actors and designers to create compelling and impactful productions. I am passionate about creating engaging and thought-provoking theatre that resonates with audiences.

Film

My experience extends to film, including collaborations with Film Venture, Calipo Picture & Film Company. I am interested in exploring the intersection of theatre and film and am keen to develop projects that utilise both mediums to tell powerful stories.

Writing (Playwriting)

As a playwright, I am driven by a desire to tell stories that matter. My plays explore a range of themes, from personal relationships to social and political issues. I am committed to creating engaging and thought-provoking work that resonates with audiences and sparks conversation. I am also dedicated to developing new work that reflects the diverse voices and experiences of contemporary Ireland.
